Ten years ago, I was doing stupid things like running marathons. Being genetically challenged, I battled to break the two-hour mark on the half marathon. So I read Tim Noakes’ ‘The Lore of Running.’ He said, “If you want to run faster, you have to run faster”. So I did. And I cracked that two-hour mark. It was bloody hard work. But I did it.
And now, ten years later, I realise that if I want to become a writer, I have to write. So that is my new goal. 100 words a day. Let’s see how long it lasts.

Good for you, Dusty..look forward to your daily “diary” entries….practice makes perfect…maybe I should take a leaf out of your book.
Thanks nossie. Beginning to think that I should allow myself weekends off. And give myself school holidays. And public holidays. And miscellaneous global religious or cultural observances…
