A little bit of this, a little bit of that. A miscellany of novelty-driven thoughts from a rather jumbled space between the ears.

Thanks for the visit.
Hallo there, please help with the contact details of “dusty muffin” as I am busy with a painting project involving Luca Jantjie. I need info about visual material regards, cobus van bosch – 082 967 0224
Hi Dusty, I see there’s a lot of info about Luca jantjie on your site…i am curious however if you have any info about other batswana leaders (i.e. Chief Toto who was later captured and sentenced to imprisonment in robben island and apparently died there) who were involved in the Langeberg uprising/Rebellion (as its commonly known).
I would gladly appriciate anything you can share with me.The thing with me is i was born and raised in kuruman in a village known as Batlharo village but dont really know the history very well.
My name is Tshepo Nyathi, i’m the one who posted a comment earlier requesting information about Chief Toto’s invovement in the langeberg uprising.
Tshepo, I’m sorry but I don’t have any further information about Chief Toto other than what is on my blog. I suggest you contact the museum in Kimberley. They have some wonderful resources there.
Hello I have enjoyed immensely the story about Luka Jantje. I would like to know how we could go about getting permission to use the pic of Gamasiep Koppie for a story we are doing using mostly David van Wyk’s pics. You can call me on 061 017-4466. Deadline is tomorrow. Regards, Sylvia
PS You can check out site, it’s aimed mainly at students, working journos and thinking South Africans… http://www.thejournalist.org.za
HI you have mentioned Achla Chib in one article, is she Somnath Chib’s daughter?
Sorry, shahana, I don’t know.
